INTRODUCTION
The
911 Speedster pays homage to the classic 356 Speedster, produced in 1948.
Styling wise the two-seater is significantly different from the other
members of the 911 line up. It sits 60 millimetres lower, has a chopped
windscreen that has been lowered by 61 millimetres and is more raked than other
911 models. The flat contour of the sporty looking manually operated hood and
the double-bubble hardcover for the soft top are reminiscent of the very first
Speedster, this makes the 911 Speedster with its wider rear stand out even more.
